Things to do or where to have fun in Phuket

Phuket is filled with various attractions. Some of them you absolutely must see for yourself. Phuket beaches start with having people walk, or jog on the cool beach sand, or take an early morning swim. The Jet-Skis, Parasailing, and fishing-boat and Scuba Diving trips can be seen coming and going all day until around sunset.

Many of the highways are within sight of the ocean, and so those who might be heading-off to one of the 7 Chinese Shrines, or 10 Buddhist Temples, also enjoy the glorious views of the water, just going from one location to another.

Wat Chalong Temple in Chalong Bay is the largest and most important temple in Phuket Island. The Big Buddha of Phuket sits atop one of the highest points on the Island of Phuket and can be seen from most places in south Phuket. There are a half-dozen Museums on different subjects from stamps & seashells to Tin Mining located in the historic districts and historical buildings.

Restaurants of every type are open from breakfast, lunch & dinner and late into the night. The major late-night sections in famous Patong don't really "come-alive" until after the street-traffic is blocked-off at 6pm, and Bangla Road becomes a giant pedestrian sidewalk, with 200+ Bars, Fine Dining, Fast Food, and adult-only shows. Most of the more popular restaurants and bars in Patong do not close until after midnight, every day of the week.  Patong has 3 major Night Clubs open until 2am everyday.

Rawai is located in the south of the Island, and Surin Beach, Laguna, and Kamala are about in the middle of Phuket Island. These areas have restaurants of every culture, and local Thai food vendors who cook fresh food at roadside stands from morning till late night while you watch.

Shopping Centers are located at major towns on Phuket, along with restaurants like McDonald's, KFC, The Pizza Company, and Starbucks. There are also famous shows Simon cabaret and Aphrodite show.
Two Large Production Dinner Shows - Phuket Fantasia and Siam Niramit. Major two  malls with shopping, restaurants, and movie theaters, one in Phuket Town, the other in Patong, open from 11am until 10pm every day.
