Seasons in Phuket

When talking about seasons as is applies to holiday rentals this does not refer to the temperature or the weather in Phuket, Thailand, the word SEASONS refers to the price or monthly costs.
There are three(3) separate categories, or seasons that are used when renting a villa or home on Phuket Island :  high season,  peak season,  and low season.

What determines the season is the amount of holiday visitors that are on  Phuket at any one time. Supply & Demand always dictates the price doesn't it.?
High season is considered anytime from October, November February, March until mid-April. The weather is a little cooler, not much rain, and the visitor count on Phuket is busy but not crowded.
Peak season is the most expensive & busiest time, running all through December and January, which includes Christmas & both New Years (Western & Russian).

Low season is considered the last weeks of April, May, June, July, August and September with the fewest visitors, and the most amount of rainfall occurring.
In the peak season you will pay more per month for your villa or house rental than you will pay in the high season, and the lowest prices of course will be found in low season.
One quick example : a villa or house which rents for 20,000 THB a month in low season, might cost 28,000 THB in high season, and over 35,000 THB for the peak season weeks. Additional expenses such as the electric and water monthly usage costs, are paid by you the renter at any 7-11 Store on the Island, these stores are always open, 24 hours a day.
Once our Holiday Rental agent has found a villa or house that you wish to rent for 4 months, 6 months or 1 year, we will arrange for you to send your' booking deposit by bank wire transfer, to guarantee your accommodations.
