Big Buddha – located on West Chaofa Road in Chalong, is visited by people of all faiths, due to the views available from the highest mountain-top on Phuket Island allowing 360-degree views.
Old Phuket Town – Is where the older Mom & Pop Family- owned shops can be found, antique stores, authentic Thai products, and Historical Buildings, as well as China-Town.
Night time Bangla Road – after 6pm, Bangla Road is closed to vehicles, and converts into an action-packed non-stop entertainment center, primarily for Adults Only, with hundreds of Bars some with pole-dancing Ladies, and many Restaurants. Open until 2am at night everyday.
Wat Chalong & other Buddhist Temples – Wat Chalong Temple is one of the oldest in all of Thailand, with several major buildings and many local vendors selling food and gifts for you to take back as souvenirs.
Phuket Fantasea Show & Simon Cabaret Show are two shows that are a must see while in Phuket. FantaSea is for the entire family, with a dinner-show included, and the Cabaret Show is for adults although entire families do attend.
Thai Boxing (Muay Thai) – This type of boxing has spread to the entire world in the last 15 years, but nowhere is it performed better than where it originally started, here in Thailand. Primarily for adults.
Chinese Shrines – Considered Buddhist Temples, these Shrines offer a unique way of teaching and these Shrines are recommended for the entire family to go visit, one being located in almost each major town on Phuket.
Phuket Bird Park is located on 12 acres of land, Phuket Bird Park is the only privately owned bird park on the Island. The park has over thousand birds of more than 100 amazing bird species from Asia, Africa and South America.
Phuket Zoo. The tropical gardens invite you to stroll around in the shade of giant trees across bridges onto islands containing all kinds of strange animals.
Crocodile farm
It's a crocodile farm, they breed crocs here and sell meat and leather.
Very impressive at times.
Phuket beaches – with fabulous swimming and sunbathing beaches located every 5 miles or so apart on the western and southern sides of Phuket Island, bring your swimming-suit and a towel and sun-screen lotion, and treat the family to a perfect day. Food Carts are always within walking distance of all the beaches.
